Watch The 'Snow White and the Huntsman' Interactive Trailer

Movie publicity is getting pretty darned fancy nowadays, isn't it? Back before "The Hunger Games" came out, we were treated to the first-ever "motion poster," i.e. a flash animation that made for one fancy web advertisement. Seeing as "The Hunger Games" opened to one of the best box office weekends of all time, maybe the motion poster deserves some of the credit?

Universal seems to think so, as the studio released a pretty neat interactive trailer for "Snow White and the Huntsman." This little bit of promotional magic allows viewers to click at points in the video to reveal behind-the-scenes facts about the shoot and the stars, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron.

For example, did you know that Stewart had to be in a vat filled with water and live rats when they were filming her escape from the castle? It's true. The interactive trailer told me so.

There's even a prompt at the end for you to buy advance tickets, if you feel so inclined. While "Huntsman" is likely to have a pretty decent box office haul, I don't think you'll have to worry much about buying advance tickets. Still, better safe than sorry that you didn't get to see Kristen Stewart swing a sword around, as the old saying goes.
