Doe-eyed Zooey Deschanel is such a lovely, lovely young woman.
She's supremely talented in her role as the lead singer of retro act She & Him, and her film career is chock full of minor gems like "All the Real Girls," "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "500 Days of Summer."
Deschanel had a role in "Weeds" a few years ago, and got her masters in "Drunk History" as Mary Todd Lincoln in 2010, but her big TV moment is now.
Fox premieres Deschanel's much-buzzed-about show "New Girl" on Tuesday, September 20th at 9pm ET/PT.
As our own Andy Neuenschwander puts it, "'New Girl' is a new single-camera comedy starring Zooey Deschanel as an 'adorkable' girl who, after a bad break-up, moves in with three guys. The formula here is simple: Deschanel does girly stuff, the guys do guy stuff, and yet in the end they all get along."
