Watch Shia LaBeouf Talk About His Drunken Arrest on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'
by Andy NeuenschwanderWe're just going to say it: Shia LaBoeuf is kinda funny and charming in this clip.
"So, since the last time I saw you it seems like you went crazy," Jimmy Kimmel said to LaBoeuf at the start of his interview on last night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
LaBoeuf didn't disagree, and went on describe exactly what happened (from his perspective, at least) on the night that he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly during a performance of "Cabaret" in New York City.
As LaBoeuf tells it, it all started with a good amount of whiskey and the World Cup. Thanks to Lithuania, he ended up chasing a homeless guy, grabbing Alan Cummings' butt, spitting on a cop and much more over the course of the evening.
The strange thing here is that LaBoeuf, whose public persona has been erratic to say the least, is genuinely pretty charming here. He seems normal enough as he tells the story, albeit maybe a bit irresponsible for an adult human.
Compare that to his strange art installations and his stoic and joyless ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video, and it's a pretty stark contrast.
So is Shia LaBoeuf actually okay? Or does he still need help?
