Watch Ryan Murphy's Controversial New Show 'The New Normal' Online Now!

If you're a fan of "Glee" or "Modern Family," NBC has a new show for you, and it's available to watch online right now!

"The New Normal" is the latest creation from Ryan Murphy, who is the mind behind "Glee" and "American Horror Story." The show is far more similar in tone to "Glee" than "AHS" though, and in fact has shades of "Modern Family" as well in terms of themes.

The show centers on Goldie, a single mother who moves to Los Angeles from the Midwest and becomes a surrogate mother to gay couple Bryan and David. Unfortunately, Goldie's intolerant mother comes along, making the whole ordeal a bit more stressful.

Already the show has been hit with controversy, as a now infamous Utah station has refused to air the show, presumably because it features a gay couple. Similar protests occurred when "Glee" became popular.
