This Just In: Axl Rose Now Looks Like an Allman Brother (Video) While Americans across the country are spending today honoring the soldiers who fought and died for this country, VH1 wants you to know that Veteran's Day isn't the only meaningful day-based holiday worth celebrating this November 11th.

Today is also National Metal Day, and they've managed to lure the famously press shy Axl Rose into the studio to help celebrate with a special edition of "That Metal Show" tonight at 11 PM ET/PT on VH1 Classic.

Yeah that's right, 11/11/11 at 11 p.m. and Axl Rose. Woah.

It's the first interview for Axl Rose in over five years, and in it, according to VH1, "Rose divulges why he is touring now, what his fans and music mean to him, his past albums, future music plans, and offers intimate revelations behind some of his most famous hits such as 'Welcome to the Jungle,' 'Sweet Child Of Mine' and much more."

Also of note, Axl Rose appears to have morphed into a slightly puffy Allman Brother, which, too his credit, is better than his previous "middle aged white guy with corn rows" look.

Maybe the Rock n' Roll Hall of Famer is just celebrating Movember?
