Robert Downey, Jr. in drag, Jude Law fully 'stached, and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo," all in one explosive trailer? We're in!
The new trailer for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" just came out, and it's chock full of Guy Ritchie's signature stylized explosive action and plenty of Robert Downey, Jr. hamming it up half-clothed and sporting makeup.
It's great to see how front and center Noomi Rapace, the fabulous actress who played "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" in the first round of movies based on the books, seems to be in the film. As we reported earlier this month, "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke is going to be working with Rapace in an upcoming film. She's a real international rock star, and it will be fun to see how she works with Downey Jr. and Jude Law.
Also fun to see is Jared Harris (aka Lane Pryce on "Mad Men"). Harris, who also played David Robert Jones on "Fringe," is a superbly talented actor and one we'd love to see more of on the big screen.
So yeah, great cast, fun action - we're pretty geeked.
