On Tuesday night's broadcast of "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," the news anchor was just starting a story about American Airlines when he was interrupted by the beeping of a fire alarm in the studio.

But did Brian Williams stop reading the news? Heck no he didn't! Brian Williams has a mission, people: to inform you about the important things that are going on in the world, like how Elvis Costello is telling people not to buy his album. Brian Williams will not let the immediate threat of injury or death stop him.

The alarm got even louder, thanks perhaps to the alarm's sense of comedic timing, and returned time and again throughout the program, prompting an explanation from Williams each time it did.

In short, Brian Williams reads the news like a motherf***ing BOSS.
