Watch the Muppets Throw Down on WWE Raw (VIDEO)

When you think about pro wrestling, you tend to think about roided-out dudes in singlets trash-talking and then hitting each other with chairs. What you tend not to think about is puppetry.

Yet, last night's episode of "WWE Monday Night Raw" featured appearances throughout from the Muppets, making it quite possibly the strangest cross-promotion in pro wrestling history.

If you've ever wanted to see Kermit the Frog make some jokes about a wrestler's mother, here's your chance. If you've ever wanted to see Beaker make a ringside assist and help win a match for Santino, you're in the right place. If you want to see some really awkward moments between hulking wrestlers and little felt puppets, then you're in luck.

Personally, I think Statler and Waldorf could have announced the entire show (after all, the announcer had a bit of trouble with "Muppetational"). And as strange as some of the interactions here were, Beaker's skit with the Irish guy was pretty funny... though I bet it would have been funnier if I had any idea who that guy was.
