Watch Michelle Obama Take Down Ellen DeGeneres In Push-Up Contest

Watch Michelle Obama Take Down Ellen DeGeneres In Push-Up Contest Americans who can't manage even a brisk walk around the block once a day, we have a special treat: video of your very last excuse dying before your eyes.

First Lady Michelle Obama dropped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" talked up the joys of getting one's blood pumping. Obama told Degeneres that she often gets in her daily workout starting around 5:30 A.M., and it's usually a good 90 minutes of combined cardio and strength training before she calls it a day.

Maybe she was impressed or maybe she just thought she'd give the First Lady and mother of two a show-off-the-guns freebie when Obama modestly said she could do "some" push-ups, but DeGeneres then challenged Obama to an on-the-spot contest.

"It depends on how your back is, I know you've got these back issues," Obama replied followed by a smirk.

Oh, and then it was on like Presidential Donkey Kong. And though I still highly suggest watching the video, here's your spoiler alert: DeGeneres gets resoundingly spanked by Obama.

Step away from the fan-fic, kids. It ain't like that.

If the lady behind the Commander-in-Chief can raise two girls and still make time to shape a couple arms like she's got, then gym excuses are pretty much ruined forever.
