Watch the Latest Full-Length Trailer for 'The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo'

First there was a gritty, bad-ass bootleg trailer for "The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo" that looked like it had been shot by a smuggler with medical condition. Then an official trailer came out, with a scorching soundtrack featuring Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails covering Led Zeppelin. Then just weeks ago, believe it or not, we got a "Muppets" trailer parodying the trailers.

Now we've got a new official full-length trailer that's far more focused on laying out the narrative throughline of the film based on the best-selling novel, and, like the film's stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, it looks pretty fantastic as well.

Putting David Fincher on the case for this film seems likely to assure cinematic gold, especially considering the richness of the material and the talent attached to it.

Still, it bears repeating that anyone going to see this movie (or any of the other inevitable sequels in the series) should be fully aware that at the core of this movie is a series of incidents that are hard for even the most jaded of film fans to watch. It may very well be worth the cringe-worthy moments, but "The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo" is the really the darkest of material, and this movie is in no way for kids.
