Watch a Hilarious Mashup of 'Hunger Games' and Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games'

The key to success on the internet, at least for the most part, is to take two things that people are talking about and put them together. Take, for example, today's big thing: Lana Del Rey's "Hunger Games."

No, it's not really Lana Del Rey singing this spoof version of her song "Video Games." It's Chicago-based comedian Holly Laurent, who is a member of Second City, the improv school that graduated the likes of Tina Fey and just about everyone else on "Saturday Night Live."

In the video, Laurent changes the lyrics to Lana Del Rey's Internet-famous song to fit Katniss' point of view within the story of "The Hunger Games." She sings about the somewhat silly names of her two love interests (noting that Gale's name is a bit on the girly side, and Peeta is named after a type of bread), the smell of District 12 and of President Snow, and her general attitude toward the Games.

The video itself, as well as Laurent's singing, gently mocks the ethereal Lana Del Rey, employing a dramatic delivery and various stock images mixed in with clips from the "Hunger Games" trailer. She also uses some language that you wouldn't catch in a young adult book, so consider it NSFW-ish for swearing.
