Watch the New 'Game of Thrones' Season 2 Trailer

Watch the New 'Game of Thrones' Season 2 Trailer When we last left "Game of Thrones," the Stark family was in shambles, Dany had become a full-fledged badass, and Joffrey had succeeded in becoming the one character on television that viewers want to punch in the face the most.

To find out what happens next, we'll all have to wait until April. But in the meantime, HBO has released a full teaser trailer for season two of "Game of Thrones," giving us a glimpse at what's to come.

The new "footage" in the trailer, as it were, isn't much to look at: mostly it's just our favorite and not-so-favorite characters looking pensive and/or concerned for their lives. The quick flashes show us Daenerys, Arya, Catelyn, Tyrion, Jon Snow, Cersei, Joffrey and others.

But the really interesting part is the voice-over, which comes courtesy of Stephen Dillane, who plays Stannis Baratheon. You might remember that the throne was supposed to go to Stannis (thanks to the transcription skills of Ned Stark) until Joffrey came of age and stopped being such a butthole, but Cersei doesn't care much for laws. Or paper, for that matter.

Thus, the narration for the trailer is all from Stannis, noting how the throne belongs to him and he'll be taking it back, thank you very much. The faces we see, therefore, are all the ones standing in his way, one way or another.

The tagline for the season, continuing on the same theme of last season's "Winter Is Coming," is "Cold Winds Are Rising." That might not be true for us when April rolls around, but it'll still be pretty chilly for poor Jon and Samwell.
