Watch Emma Stone Get Weird with Fred Armisen in 'SNL' Promos

Emma Stone's meteoric rise to stardom, from her breakout role in "Superbad" to her comedic lead in "Easy A" to her dramatic turn in the sleeper hit "The Help," has all been building to this: dressing like a wizard on "Saturday Night Live."

That's just one outcome of a string of promos for this week's "SNL," which has Stone guest hosting. Other gags in the fairly odd promos have Stone and Fred Armisen giving each other dramatic, longing looks, arguing with each other over nothing, and adjusting voices in real time using the sound board (and Emma's mind).

It's getting to the point where these promos are almost part of the show, a series of 15-second sketches that have the potential to elicit even more laughs than the actual show does. The set from back when Zach Galifianakis hosted were particularly good.

Stone will be joined on Saturday by musical guest Coldplay, who will be returning to the SNL stage for the first time in three years.
