Watch: Daniel Craig Reveals Deleted Spectre Scene on Colbert's Show

It isn't really a deleted scene from the new Bond movie, but a short skit that Daniel Craig introduced while he was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night attempted to explain a glaring credibility gap in the Bond franchise.

As an introduction to the clip, Colbert expressed curiosity about Bond's tradition of driving super-high-end luxury cars equipped with high-tech weaponry and defense mechanisms, only to destroy the cars within minutes. How, Colbert wondered, does Bond manage to keep getting his hands on replacement cars?

In the skit, Craig, as Bond, races up to the desk of Rental Co., a company that doesn't just rent "car," it rents "care." Colbert, as the somewhat lackadaisical clerk at the counter, isn't impressed that Bond is being chased by assassins and needs a car ASAP -- "We all have things to do," the clerk counters. The skit goes on to poke fun at Bond's destructive habits, the ridiculousness of rental car paperwork, and the importance of returning a rental car with a full tank of gas.

The new Bond film, Spectre, opens in theatres in North America on Friday, November 6.
