Watch Bill Murray Crash a Bachelor Party and Give Amazing Marriage Advice
by Andy NeuenschwanderYou might think you've been to some awesome bachelor parties, but you haven't been to one that Bill Murray crashed.
A video started circulating today of the "Ghostbusters" star showing up unannounced at a South Carolina man's bachelor party, where he began offering marital advice to the attendees.
"If you have someone that you think is The One," Murray said, "don't just sort of think in your ordinary mind, 'Okay, let's pick a date. Let's plan this and make a party and get married.' Take that person and travel around the world. Buy a plane ticket for the two of you to travel all around the world, and go to places that are hard to go to and hard to get out of. And if when you come back to JFK, when you land in JFK, and you're still in love with that person, get married at the airport."
In other words, if you can find someone who will still love you after riding with you on a hot, smelly bus in a developing country while you're hungry and sleep deprived, then that person is the one you should marry. So sayeth Bill Murray.
Edit: The video has been removed from YouTube, but you can watch the whole thing at Deadspin.
Murray, now 63, has been married and divorced twice, so the soon-to-be groom could either consider his advice more sage or less trustworthy depending on how you look at it.
