Watch: Andy's 'Ex' Meets His 'Sex' On This Week's 'The Office' Christmas

For as hit-and-miss as "The Office" has sometimes been since, say, Season Six or so, the show remains up there with "The Simpsons" and "Psych" for always delivering great Christmas episodes.

That's because that's often when the show either ratchets up or twists a building romance. In particular, past Christmases have first built, then cemented the love between Pam and Jim, and in Season Seven saw things get briefly bitter and ugly between Michael and Holly.

This season, it appears Andy's Christmas Present meets his Christmas Past. At long last, his amicable former love Erin will meet his long-kept-off-screen girlfriend, Jessica.

While Andy nervously ruminates a little on his "'ex' meeting his 'sex'" and wondering what will come of the two comparing notes, this clip suggests that Erin might be just about the sweetest "ex" ever. Either that, or she's far more "over" Andy than he's giving her credit for being. I mean, just look at her! The little sweetheart looks like she's barely holding back from tackling poor Jessica like an adorable linebacker!

But why get our hopes up, folks? After all, if you've ever been through a break-up, you know it's often not as simple as it looks.
