Watch Adele Sing for the First Time in 5 Months
by Andy NeuenschwanderAdele fans (and fans of good music everywhere) got a bit of a scare last year when Adele had to cancel her tour and go on vocal rest, then have surgery on her vocal chords. The breakout artist was just hitting the big time, and you couldn't turn a corner without hearing "Rolling in the Deep."
If you were worried about Adele not being able to recover from her surgery and sing the way she used to, you can rest easy: she's sounding pretty good.
Adele did an interview on "60 Minutes" with Anderson Cooper, and treated Cooper to a few lines, a capella, of "Rolling in the Deep," after five months of vocal rest. The singer seems to not have missed a beat, singing right on pitch and with that same amazing tone we love.
You'll be able to see Adele do her big comeback performance at The Grammys this Sunday.
