Watch Adam Levine Sing the 'Sesame Street' Theme Like Michael Jackson
by Andy NeuenschwanderLove him or hate him, there's no denying that Adam Levine is a pretty good singer. But as it turns out, he's a pretty good impersonator, too!
The Maroon 5 frontman appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" last night to talk about the upcoming season of "The Voice" but was, as is often the case with Fallon's guests, met with a challenge.
"It's time for a new game called 'Wheel of Musical Impressions,' " Fallon said. He then brought out a button and explained the rules: Each round, a randomly selected singer and (royalty-free) song would come up, and Fallon or Levine would have to attempt to sing the song in the style of the singer.
We've seen Fallon do his spot-on Neil Young impression before, so it's no surprise that he could handle even "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" in the style of Iggy Azalea pretty well. But you might be surprised at how well Levine did with selections like the "Sesame Street" song in the style of Michael Jackson or "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in the style of Frank Sinatra.
We won't even talk about his Eddie Vedder impression.
Levine is having a much better week than his former "The Voice" co-judge Cee Lo Green, who pled no contest to charges that he drugged and potentially raped a female friend, then proceeded to go on Twitter and say that, "If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent."
Anyway, here's some fun with Adam Levine:
