'Walking Dead''s Reedus Takes a Ride

The Walking Dead left fans a little uneasy with its controversial season-ending cliffhanger this spring, but star Norman Reedus will offer some much-needed distraction through the summer with his own non-fiction series on AMC, Ride with Norman Reedus. The six-episode series will follow Reedus as he travels around the country on his motorcycle, hanging out with guests and visiting bike shops, tattoo parlors, bars, restaurants and other biker-friendly destinations.

On the first episode, which airs June 12 on AMC, Reedus rides up the Pacfic Coast Highway on a high-tech Ducati, and in the second, he takes selfies with several female friends in Death Valley. In future episodes, he'll commune with guests such as Peter Fonda and Robert Rodriguez, and he'll explore the places and activities dear to the biker culture.

The easy-going vibe of the show is a contrast to the intensity of The Walking Dead and Reedus' usually grumpy character on the show, Daryl Dixon. Here you'll find Reedus cracking jokes instead of slaughtering zombies, and his affable personality is sure to please the fans who are already wildly infatuated with the TWD's crossbow-toting bad boy.

Ride with Norman Reedus will air at 10pm Eastern on Sunday nights on AMC, and this Sunday it will be sandwiched between two airings of an episode of Preacher.
