'Walking Dead''s Andrew Lincoln Among Highest-Earning TV Actors
by EG
Andrew Lincoln is exiting The Walking Dead at just the right time. The series is saddled with record-low-and-falling ratings, and its future as a TV powerhouse is in doubt. At the same time, Lincoln, who will be leaving the show this season, has made it onto the list of the ten highest-paid actors on TV. Read on for details.

Despite falling ratings and only appearing in six episodes of season nine, Andrew saw his annual pay packet grow to $11 million (£8, 525,055) over the past 12 months behind usual culprits from The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family.
After the male stars of The Big Bang Theory volunteered to cut their salary to give their female co-stars a boots, the top four actors to feature on the list all came from the comedy, which is currently in its final season.
Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar all dominated the rankings with Modern Family’s Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ty Burrell all following, while NCIS’ Mark Harnon was sandwiched in between the two sit-coms at number five. Here’s their, quite frankly, ridiculous annual takings below:
Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) – $26 million (£20,159,4900
Johnny Galecki (The Big Bang Theory) – $25 million (£19,386,875)
Simon Helberg (The Big Bang Theory) – $23.7 million (£18,378,757) Kunal Nayvar (The Big Bang Theory) – $23.7 million (£18,378,757)
Mark Harmon (NCIS) – $19 million (£14,731,365)
Ed O’Neill (Modern Family) – $14 million (£10,850,140)
Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) – $13.5 million (£10,463,850)
Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) – $13 million (£10, 076, 300)
Ty Burrell (Modern Family) – $12 million (£9,304,740)
Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead) – $11 million (£8,529,345)
The Walking Dead confirmed this week that Andrew’s final episode would be airing in less than two weeks’ time, while the 45-year-old assured fans that the zombie drama will be ‘great’ when it continues without Rick Grimes.
