'Walking Dead' Season 4: Teases and Trailers, But Few Answers

'Walking Dead' Season 4: Teases and Trailers, But Few Answers We're still a good six weeks away from the start of season four of "The Walking Dead," but AMC and the producers of the show are dribbling out teasers designed to ratchet up excitement ahead of the season opener. First there was an extended trailer for the upcoming season that debuted at Comic-Con, and now there's a brief clip showing Michonne getting into a bit of zombie trouble.

The series cast and producers, including creator Robert Kirkman, have been talking a lot about the upcoming season, but they haven't been giving away much of anything in regard to where the plot and the characters will be going. Kirkman suggests that anything could happen, and just because something has happened in the comic version of the story doesn't mean it's going to happen in the TV version.

What, then, can we expect from season 4? We can expect Carl's transformation into a hardened zombie killer to continue. We can expect the development of the relationship between Rick and Tyreese, perhaps in a way that mirrors the way it happened in the comic version. We can expect the action to stay in the prison, at least for awhile, and we can expect prison life to get much more difficult than it was at the end of season 3. We can probably expect the Governor to resurface, too, although Kirkman has been a little cagey about that possibility.

The main thing we can expect, though, is to have to wait until Oct. 13 to find out for sure what's going happen at the kick-off of season 4.
