Someone Warn the PTC: Hilarious Gay Sex Advice Columnist Dan Savage Gets His Own MTV Show

Someone Warn the PTC: Hilarious Gay Sex Advice Columnist Dan Savage Gets His Own MTV Show Syndicated sex columnist Dan Savage, a gay man who provides sex advice to heterosexuals and homosexuals alike, is bringing his unadulterated brand of guidance to MTV in January, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"I don’t think there are any networks talking to teenagers about how to navigate sex and modern relationships. There’s been a real leap forward in information online and the way teens communicate and Dan is somebody who brings real credibility,” MTV's head of production Chris Linn told the magazine.

Savage writes a hilarious column called "Savage Love" for alternative weekly papers throughout the country, where he offers advice on everything from three-way etiquette to renting male prostitutes to being GGG 'good, giving, and game' 'in bed, regardless of what your kink is. In Savage's columns, anything is fair game, including politics if necessary.

The author/speaker was famously responsible for holding a contest to create a meaning for the term "santorum" in honor of some anti-gay statements made by U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania. The contest and resulting term has caused the Senator (who reportedly has Presidential ambitions) no end of problems, as it continues to be the top search term when you look up his name.

The new show, called "Savage U," will follow Savage around on a tour of universities, where he'll be speaking to impressionable young teens about the realities of modern sex. Savage is currently touring the country in support of the It Gets Better Project, which helps advise gay teens on how to get through adolescence and grow to become thriving adults.

If the PTC thought "Skins" was too risque, we're gonna go ahead and guess they're gonna have their hands full with "Savage U."
