'The Voice' Host Carson Daly Now A Father Twice Over

'The Voice' Host Carson Daly Now A Father Twice Over What a wonderful week to be Carson Daily.

By all means, let's put the most important things first: NBC's emcee of "The Voice" is now a father twice-over. Daly and girlfriend Siri Pinter welcomed their second child into the world Thursday evening, a daughter named Etta Jones Daly, according to no less than Daly himself on his Facebook page.

"Tonight at 5:15 p.m. we welcomed the latest addition to our family. Etta Jones Daly weights 8 lbs. and is beautiful!" Daly wrote Thursday evening. "Mom was a rockstar, Jackson James is a proud big bro, and dad's drinking a cold one. Praise God."

Daily and Pinter announced the impending arrival of 3-year-old Jackson's sibling this past May.

"Look at all those cookies in my belly!" Siri wrote then on her website. "Ok there is a baby in there too, and that baby has been living there for about 5 and a half months already! I am due early September. We are beyond thrilled and blessed. I have been eating a lot of cookies."

Consequently, what little rest there is for Daly this month.

Monday, Daly kicks off the third season of "The Voice" with a three-night premiere event, with Wednesday night's 8 p.m. ET slot matching it up head-to-head with FOX's premiering second season of "The Voice."
