Vin Diesel Reveals 'Fast & Furious 7' Release Date, Production to Continue Without Paul Walker

"Fast & Furious" fans, mark your calendars!

Vin Diesel announced today on his Facebook page that "Fast & Furious 7," the latest movie in the franchise, has an official release date.

The last scene we filmed together…" Diesel wrote with a photo of him and Paul Walker on the film's set. "There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come."

"Fast and Furious 7 will be released… April 10th 2015!" Diesel announced. "P.s. He'd want you to know first…"

This is good news for fans, as the future of the project was in question following Paul Walker's fatal car crash. Walker died tragically along with his friend Roger Rodas on November 30th after his car crashed near Santa Clarita.

After Walker's passing, Universal shut down production on the movie in a show of support for Walker's family. It was unclear as to whether or not the studio would even finish the film, considering Walker's vital role.

Now, though, it seems the studio has found a way to complete the film and meet a release date roughly 15 months from now.

The only question is how. Will "Fast & Furious 7" feature the death of Walker's character Brian O'Conner? Or will the film find another way to phrase out the character? Will this be the last movie in the series?

We'll find out on April 10th, 2015!
