VIDEO: Watch the Opening Credits to the UK Version of 'Jersey Shore' Here's an interesting fact: MTV has been developing and shooting a British version of "Jersey Shore" for a U.K. audience called "Geordie Shore."

I've never been to Tyneside, England where the Geordie dialect comes from, nor have I been to Newcastle where "Geordie Shore" is being filmed, so I can't speak as to its similarity to Seaside Heights.

But judging by the set of characters in the newly-released opening credits, it would seem that these "Geordies" are a bizarro version of the Guidos and Guidettes from New Jersey. Seriously, they're like British doppelgangers.

I mean, look at them: they all have spray tans, they dress very similarly, and they even seem to have their own version of fist pumping. The real question is, do they have a Snooki?

A few quotes from the credits confirms that MTV UK might have a similarly crazy cast on its hands: "I'll never kiss anyone without a six-pack," claims one girl, while another declares, "I'm fit, I'm flirty, and I have double-F's."

You can check out the intros for the "Geordie Shore" characters in the video below. While you do, consider this sad fact: when America adapts British shows, we end up with critically-acclaimed television like "The Office" and "Shameless." When the Brits adapt our shows, they get a version of "Jersey Shore." Ouch.
