VIDEO: Watch Will Ferrell Shave Conan O'Brien's Beard in the 'Beardpocalypse'

Since April 28th, Conan O'Brien's Twitter feed has focused on one subject: the "Beardpocalypse."

"Will Ferrell is coming to try to shave off my beard on May 2nd. And NATO does nothing. #Beardpocalypse," tweeted O'Brien last Thursday. Every day since, he has added a new tweet about Ferrell's impending shave-shaming, saying that his beard was screaming and Ferrell was driving past his house "in a tiny French car, laughing and waving a razor."

Well, Monday night marked doomsday for Conan's beard as Ferrell showed up on "Conan" to shave it off. Ferrell being Ferrell, of course, it was made into a hilarious, drawn-out affair, complete with a barber's chair and even a set of combs sitting in "the blue stuff" (which Ferrell took a healthy swig of).

After a few jokes about 1970's Playboy models and giving Conan a few options of shave styles, Ferrell set about giving O'Brien the worst shave ever. Conan's reaction when he saw it in a mirror? "That's horrible!"
