VIDEO: Watch Conan O'Brien Explain TBS Broadcast Glitch, Diss Atlanta West coast viewers of "Conan" on Tuesday night might have thought that they were in the Twilight Zone. Everything was going fine with the broadcast until something went wrong with the feed.

Viewers were first treated to 23 minutes straight of commercials. That's enough to make any normal person go insane. But as Conan joked about it on last night's show: "We made a fortune!" he exclaimed.

The 23 minutes of ads was followed by a blank screen with the TBS logo, and then the show finally returned...but it was in reverse and pixellated, as though it was being rewinded on a faulty DVR.

Conan addressed the entire ordeal last night, and put the blame on the TBS headquarters in Atlanta, which co-ordinates the broadcasts. The sketch that Coco presented explained that the glitch happened when a hillbilly Atlanta TBS employee dumped a pot of chili on the "'Conan' West Coast feed machine." That was followed by a "chili stomp," which of course is when you play the banjo and the fiddle and dance around with the chili.

To be fair, Conan introduced the sketch as being based on "our own unfair cultural bias," so he knows he's being mean to Atlantans. But still, wow. Don't mess with Conan's feed, or he'll burn you!
