VIDEO: Vinny from 'Jersey Shore' Flaunts a New Accent, Busts Out Some Shakespeare Vinny Guadagnino rocked a British accent on “Today” for Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb, as he spoke about the transition from reality TV to scripted television.

When asked about the transition from the “Shore” to his upcoming guest spot on “The Hard Times of RJ Berber,” Vinny said it wasn’t that hard.

"I was acting since I'm a little kid in a lot of plays and stuff. So, I'm used to memory," Guadagnino said.

He also credited his background in "musical theater, Shakespeare, (and) a little bit of everything."

After Kathie Lee pressed him on the Shakespeare, Guadagnino provided her with a line from “Romeo and Juliet”

Wherefore art thou, Romeo?"

"Well, that's Juliet who does that, right?" Gifford asked.

"Yeah," he said.
