VIDEO: Real Housewives of Miami Proposal and Winter Wedding One of the newest set of “Housewives” is one step closer to becoming an actual wife. On Tuesday's "Real Housewives of Miami" show, Philipe Pautesta proposed to girlfriend Marysol Patton, presenting her with a massive ring from her mother’s collection.

After announcing the engagement to the rest of the cast, Lea Black cracked, "I wanta know how long they've been together, because I want to know how long it's gonna last ... I did not know he needed a green card!"

Apparently, it’s lasted all the way to the altar - in Apsen, Colo. Now that the show has aired, Marysol has been able to release photos from their winter wedding last March.

"I was freaking out!" the 44-year-old told Life & Style about planning the wedding in only five days. "But on our wedding day, a sense of peace came over me."

Why the rush? Was Lea right about the green card urgency? According to the Miami-based Marysol, no.

"We rushed so we wouldn't miss the snow," Marysol said. "I always wanted a winter wedding!"
