Video: New 'Iron Man 3' Teaser!

A teaser trailer has been released for “Iron Man 3,” and that’s definitely what it does—tease.

Within there’s little more than a handful of quick images, but it gives you a taste of what to expect—and, like the previous “Iron Man” movies, that’s a whole lot of action, and some shiny metal suits.

The official trailer will premiere this Tuesday, but if you can’t wait until then, satisfy yourself with this brief taste.

In the trailer, you can glimpse the new Iron Man suit, which looks all kind of sparkly and cool. Aside from a few explosions and Iron Man flying, as per usual, it’s clear that Pepper Potts manages to get herself into some kind of trouble as well. Either that or she’s about to hit a drop on an unfortunate roller coaster ride she didn’t want to go on in the first place. Hate that feeling.

“Iron Man 3” won’t be hitting theaters until 2013, so don’t get yourself too worked up quite yet, unless you've been dying for any excuse to whip out your "Iron Man" bedsheets and boxers. The plot is still more or less a mystery, but imdb.com hints that our hero, Tony Stark, will be heading to China, possibly to tangle with “his toughest opponent, Mandarin.”

That would certainly explain the strange hair-do on one of the faceless characters in the clip.

“Iron Man 3” will carry over most of the characters from the first two films, including Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany as Jarvis, and Don Cheadle.

Ben Kingsley will be stepping in as The Mandarin—an excellent villain choice, though maybe not ethnically accurate—and Guy Pierce will also be making an appearance in this film.
