VIDEO - Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson Drama Finally Breaks John McClane

Not sure if serious? Hey, we could only wish that somebody would've shoehorned this "scene" Bruce Willis lifted from "A Good Day to Die Hard" into the homestretch of shooting.

Unfortunately, we're indeed probably SOL on this one. The actor that's made John McClane an everyman action icon in a forest of Schwarzenegger-Stallone clones over the course of four "Die Hard" films in almost 30 years told David Letterman Thursday night that his fifth explosive turn as McClane just recently shooting. Do the math, and it would've realistically been a bit tricky to really write, set up and shoot a scene like this in which the precarious relationship between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart finally shatters the nerve Alan "Hans Gruber" Rickman couldn't.

The poor man can't even maintain his typically Hell-bent focus on the ambassador he's to rescue from kidnappers in Russia with his son John McClane Jr., played by Jai Courtney.

Could lost young-Hollywood love be more jarring to the grizzled McClane than a hail of bullets flying out of the fireballs he outruns and past his now-chrome-domed skull? Folks, we wouldn't lie to you: it might be. McClane barely whimpers his way through a token "Yippie-ki-yay..." before choking on the final signature expletive.

Truly, it's John McClane as we've never seen him.

"A Good Day To Die Hard" will wreck many a woman's Valentine's Day 2013, when it hits theatesr everywhere.
