VIDEO: Check Out the Teaser Trailer for 'The Walking Dead' Season 2

Summer is great, what with the weather and great summer TV shows. But fall is really where it's at. Why? "The Walking Dead," that's why.

AMC's post-apocalyptic hit show will return this Halloween for more scares/windows into the human condition. Last season left off with our hereos driving away from the unfortunately defunct CDC after a stressful lockdown there.

The 13-episode second season will provide a much longer journey than the six-episode first one, which is good for us.

AMC has released a 30-second teaser for season two of "The Walking Dead," which doesn't show us much but still manages to be darned cool. In the clip, our hero Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) shows us how to take down a zombie in super-slow motion.

Does it reveal anything about the plot of season two? No. In fact, it doesn't even tell us the exact premiere date. Does it still make me totally excited for the premiere? Heck yes.

Update: D'oh. Like quite a few other pubs,we got fooled. The teaser trailer below is, in fact, fan-made, according to "The Walking Dead" comic book creator Robert Kirkman and series producer Gale Anne Hurd. Still, pretty dang impressive!
