Venus (Walton Goggins) Will Be In 'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7

Venus (Walton Goggins) Will Be In 'Sons of Anarchy' Season 7 Yes, "Sons of Anarchy" is coming to an end soon. But we have some excellent news for you...

Venus is going to be in season seven!

Series creator Kurt Sutter confirmed via Twitter, in his own particular way, that Walton Goggins will be making an appearance in the seventh and final season of FX's biker gang drama.

"I am very happy to report that in season 7 of SOA, THERE WILL BE SOME MUTHAFUCKIN' VENUS!" he wrote.

Venus was introduced as a character back in season five. Originally, it seemed that the transgender call girl played by the amazing Goggins (who is perhaps only better in his role on "Justified") was just going to be a bit of fun and a sort of mini "The Shield" reunion for the actor and Sutter.

But last season, Venus Van Dam got some serious purpose in the show in an emotional turn. After that, Goggins told EW that he would love to come back one more time before the show ends.

"I wouldn’t be surprised if you see her again before this show is done. I’ll just say that," he said. "She’s like a drug for me. And I think she’s like a drug for Kurt. Kurt and his writing staff did such a good job of creating this woman who is as strong as they come and now simultaneously as vulnerable as they come. I just… I miss her. I missed her the day that we wrapped, and I miss her now. I hope to be six inches taller than some of the members of the gang on Sons of Anarchy again, but we’ll see."

So while we're sad that the show is ending, at least we know it'll go out in the best way possible!
