'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3, Episode 3 Preview Clip: 'The End of the Affair'

The search for Stefan brings Damon and Elena to Chicago this week on "The Vampire Diaries," and if the preview clip is any indication we're about to uncover some dirt. Or blood.

In this 90-second clip from this week's upcoming episode, Damon and Elena arrive in Stefan's "second personality home," which features a creepy closet with the names of all of his victims. While Damon doesn't exactly swear innocence in the 1920's (no, Elena, he wasn't championing women's lib), he claims he wasn't quite as hungry as Stefan was.

Judging by the clip, the two are closing in on him. Will Elena come up with a plan? Will Damon stop being a jerk? Are there any easter eggs in the names on that wall? Come on, the crew member that made it had to scrawl in a few names of other crew members. Or family. Or ex-girlfriends.
