'The Vampire Diaries' Episode 20 Preview Clip: 'Do Not Go Gentle' and Bromance

There are only a couple of weeks of "The Vampire Diaries" left, and then the cold, dark, TVD-less summer begins. But hey, at least there will be "True Blood," right? I know, Waiting Sucks.

The latest preview clip for this week's episode, "Do Not Go Gentle," features some ill omens. Alaric and Damon talk about Alaric's continuing struggles with his blackouts, and Alaric mentions that he thinks he should skip town for a bit. Considering his state, Damon doesn't think that's such a good idea.

Is this the Dr. Jekyll of Alaric's now-split personality, or the Mr. Hyde? It certainly seems in the clip like he has a grander plan than just taking a vacation.

Will Alaric make it through this season alive? Could this be the end of the Alaric & Damon bromance? What's the grand scheme behind Alaric's "episodes?"
