'The Vampire Diaries' Episode 19 Preview Clip: 'Heart of Darkness' and Delena Feelings

After a two-week (and then some) hiatus, "The Vampire Diaries" is finally back this week with a brand-new episode, titled "Heart of Darkness." And as always, we have the extended preview clip right here for you to watch!
The clip has Elena having a little heart to heart (of darkness?) with Alaric down in the cellar, where he is keeping himself after his little "episodes" interfered with the plan to take down Klaus. As he puts it, his "uncooperative alter ego" hid the white oak stake, and the gang needs to figure out where.
But that's not why Elena pays him a visit. She's there to give him some of the "essentials," but ends up having a heart to heart about her impending trip with Damon. Alaric questions how Stefan would feel about that, but Elena reveals that it was his idea, so that she could sort out her "unresolved feelings" for Damon. My guess is that they'll get sorted out, but maybe not how Stefan is hoping.
The episode premieres this Thursday and kicks off a four-week run of episodes to wrap up the third season.
