'The Vampire Diaries' Episode 16 Preview Clip - '1912' and Derby Hats

Breathe a sigh of relief, "The Vampire Diaries" fans. You made it through the hiatus, and your favorite show is coming back on the air with all-new episodes this week, kicking off the second half of the already explosive season three.

As per usual, The CW has a little preview clip for you to get you fired up about this week's episode. And as per usual, it's Damon and Stefan being snippy with each other. There's been a lot of that lately, hasn't there?

This time, though, we're back in the year 1912 (hence the title of the episode, "1912"), so Damon and Stefan are arguing while wearing funny ties and derby hats. Really, it's just Damon being Damon while Stefan, being old Stefan, attempts to repair the brothers' burned bridge in their first encounter in over 50 years.

The flashbacks to 1912 will serve as a parallel to the present-day murders in Mystic Falls, and we'll also see Damon's fling with a beautiful vampire named Sage.
