'The Vampire Diaries' Episode 14 Preview Clip: 'Dangerous Liaisons' and Brotherly Hate

The third season of "The Vampire Diaries" continues to bring new twists and turns to the story with each episode, as last week's installment had a few big shockers and an opened coffin or two.

This week's episode, "Dangerous Liaisons," sees our heroes (and villains) continuing to deal with Klaus' game in their own ways. As we can see from this preview clip, Elena has her own part in it.

Elena receives a mysterious invitation from Esther, Klaus' Original mother, which Elena is obviously a little hesitant to accept. When the Salvatore brothers hear about it, they react according to their new attitudes: Damon being extra protective of Elena, Stefan being aloof about it, Damon chastising him for it, and Stefan retaliating with a snappy remark about how his brother totally made out with his girl.

Surely there will be a lot more to the episode than the Salvatores bickering with each other, but it's never a dull moment when they are, either.
