Twilight: Eclipse and Kristen Stewart Win Big at People's Choice Awards

Kristen Stewart and the Twilight franchise scored some bling at the People’s Choice Awards last night.

Fans cheered as Kristen, along with co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner went on stage to pick up their awards. Were fans cheering because Robert and Kristen were together again in public or because they liked the movie? Might have been a little bit of both.

The movie also happens to be nominated for a Razzie. Razzies are the exact opposite of the Oscars – for movies that stink.

So how could it be so bad, but yet be so good? Hard to say, but some people must have loved Twilight: Eclipse. It took home two top prizes for the night!

From Popeater:

The 2011 People's Choice Awards were presented last night and the award for Favorite Movie went to 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' which also won the award for Favorite Drama Movie.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were all on hand to accept the award in person, to cheers from the rapturous audience. 'Eclipse' has also been shortlisted for the 2011 Razzies for the Worst Picture category.

The Favorite Movie Actress award, meanwhile, went to Stewart, who told the surprised crowd that she and her co-stars had been filming the final 'Twilight' film, 'Breaking Dawn,' earlier in the day before rushing to the ceremony.

What I don’t get is why the fans were surprised. Weren’t they pushing for a quick release date for the next installment?

These Twihards like their vampires and werewolves and can’t go too long without them!
