The classic DC Comics heroine comes to the small screen in this new series from the producers of The Flash and Arrow. Melissa Benoist plays Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman. Adopted as a teenager by the Danvers family, Kara at first tries to hide her super powers as her cousin did, but when disaster strikes, she can't resist saving the day. Supergirl begins on CBS on October 26, 2015.
The original Muppet Show was aimed a bit more directly at adults than it was at kids, but this reboot very definitely updates the stories of Jim Henson's characters with grown-up twists that are unlike anything you've seen from the Muppets before. The Muppets premieres on ABC on September 22 2015.
This drama follows the exploits of a group of attractive young FBI agents as they make their way through training at the Bureau's facility in Quantico, Virginia. The series has been described as Grey's Anatomy meets Homeland. It debuts on ABC on September 27, 2015.
From the creators of Glee comes this horror comedy about a series of gruesome murders on a college campus. The series is notable not just for its producer pedigree, but its casting as well. Horror legend Jamie Lee Curtis plays the administrative head of the college, and Emma Roberts has the lead role. Glee alum Lea Michele will make regular appearances, as will Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande. Scream Queens debuts on Fox on September 22, 2015.
A mysterious tattooed woman turns up in Time Square, naked and unable to remember who she is. The FBI gets involved and soon discovers that Jane Doe is somehow linked to a serious crime, and her tattoos hold the key to solving the mystery. Blindspot premieres on NBC on September 21, 2015.
