Trump Attack on Oprah on Twitter
by EGDonald Trump claims that Oprah Winfrey is "insecure," but the president himself is the one who looked insecure this week when he lambasted Oprah on Twitter. Trump's attack would seem to be an offensive against the former host of The Oprah Winfrey Show, just in case she decides to run for president in 2020. Polls show that Winfrey would handily win a hed-to-head contest against Trump if she were to decide to run.
It appears that Sunday night's 60 Minutes was part of President Donald Trump's TV-watching routine over the weekend.
The president took to Twitter late Sunday night to lambaste his once-friend Oprah Winfrey over a discussion she hosted with Michigan voters on CBS' 60 Minutes. Winfrey reunited with a group of Grand Rapids voters to reassess the president after his first year in office.
Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

Topics of conversation included Trump's reported "shithole" countries remark, eroding views of America around the world under Trump and how some members of Congress, including Republicans, are questioning Trump's stability and fitness for office.
Winfrey, who moderated the panel with six voters, also questioned why Trump hasn't been impacted by the #MeToo movement, despite having "some 20 women" accuse him of sexual harassment. "Do you think the president is held to a different standard when it comes to this issue of sexual harassment?" she asked, spurring debate among the group.
