'True Grit' and 'Glee' Stars Make Amends at SAG

'True Grit' and 'Glee' Stars Make Amends at SAG We imagine the "Glee" mash up would go something like “Big Girls Don’t Cry”… or if they do-ew-ew, they are quick to make up with plenty of cameras nearby to capture the photo op.

After "True Grit" starlet Hailee Steinfeld confessed to J-14 magazine that she once cried after being snubbed by "Glee" star Lea Michele on the Paramount lot, the two were seen chatting together during a cocktail reception at the Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday.

Steinfeld, 14, saw the 24-year-old Michele on set while filming "True Grit." Still in 1800’s-style costume, she ran up to Michele for an autograph. Michele passed her by and then a guy told Steinfeld, “Sorry, now’s not a good time!”

Although the incident made her cry, the young star said she remained a fan. When hearing about the story, Michele said she felt bad and hoped to meet the talented Steinfeld someday.

Sunday gave Michele her chance and she was seen happily posing for photographers with Steinfeld who was nominated for best supporting actress for her "True Grit" role as Mattie, the young girl who avenges her father’s death by hiring the merciless Rooster (Jeff Bridges).

The SAG Award went to Melissa Leo for her role as Alice Ward in "The Fighter." Steinfeld will go up once more for Best Supporting Actress during the upcoming Academy Awards.

Steinfeld landed the coveted role of Mattie after the casting directors months-long search through thousands of girls. Before starring in the Cohen brother’s film, Steinfeld had been seen various teen-style films and featured in a K-Mart commercial for “blingatude.”
