'True Blood' Star Stephen Moyer Raises Money for Charity, is a Totally Awesome Guy

What did "True Blood" star Anna Paquin see in her co-star Stephen Moyer that convinced her to marry him? A big part of it was probably the fact that he plays a handsome, brooding vampire, but we're starting to see some more reasons: namely, it seems that he's a really good guy.

Moyer, who plays Bill on the hit HBO show, has signed on with the charity Facing the World and its subsidiary Facing the Atlantic.

The organizations raise money for children born with facial deformities so that they can afford reconstructive surgeries. Facing the Atlantic is currently attempting a cross-Atlantic boat race to raise awareness and collect donations for the cause.

Moyer has gotten involved with the organization because of his friend Bertie Portal, who is participating in the boating adventure. The two have been friends for years, and Portal even served as Moyer's best man at his wedding with Anna!

Moyer is pitching in by offering a number of signed photos and other items for auction. The first signed photo that sold went for $830!
