'True Blood' Star Evan Rachel Wood is Engaged!
by Andy NeuenschwanderIs the former Vampire Queen of Louisiana engaged?
It sure seems that way! US Weekly is reporting that "True Blood" star Evan Rachel Wood, who appeared on the show for a couple of seasons as Sophie-Anne, is engaged to British actor Jamie Bell. Wood's reps have not responded to the reports, so no official announcement has been made yet.
The couple had dated for about a year back in 2006 (and got matching tattoos), but broke up for a few years. They recently reunited, and Bell was spotted shopping for engagement rings at the end of 2011.
This is Wood's second engagement, as she wore a ring for a bit while she was with Marilyn Manson. Their relationship ended in 2010.
Last year was a big one for Wood: sure, she may not be on "True Blood" anymore, but she starred in the miniseries "Mildred Pierce" and earned a number of nominations for her performance, including a Golden Globes nom. She also starred in "The Ides of March," which is a good bet for some Oscar nominations.
Bell came on the scene in "Billy Elliot" and has since starred in "Jumper" and, more recently, appeared in "Jane Eyre" and provided a voice for "The Adventures of Tintin."
The two met back in 2005 when they both appeared in the music video for Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Check them out in the extended video below:
