'True Blood' Star Anna Paquin Gives Birth!
by Andy NeuenschwanderA big, fang-bearing congratulations goes out today to "True Blood" co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin, who are now the proud parents of a healthy set of twins!
Paquin gave birth to the twins today, which according to a statement obtained by the AP is a couple of weeks early of their expected due date. However, reps for the couple say that the twins are healthy and, of course, that Paquin and Moyer are "overjoyed."
There's no news yet as to the sex of the twins or their names. We would suggest that the couple steer clear of the names Eric, Lilith, Russell, or Warlow.
Paquin and Moyer met on the set of "True Blood" and announced their engagement back in 2009. A year later they married, and the pregnancy was announced earlier this year, in April. Moyer has two children, Lilac and Billy, from a previous marriage, so they're about to double the brood!
It was announced recently that Paquin's pregnancy was a factor in deciding to shorten the next season of "True Blood," the show's sixth, by two episodes. The fact that the twins were born a couple of weeks early will likely not change that plan, as financial issues were also quoted as a contributing factor.
We'll keep you updated about the kids as we learn more, including whether or not they can read minds or shoot light out of their hands.
