'True Blood' Season 5, Episode 7 Preview Clips: Russell's Chaos, Sam's Nose

Last week's episode of "True Blood," titled "Hopeless," left us in a pretty hopeless situation indeed: it would seem that Russell is feeling a bit more spry than he initially let on, and looks to be staging a breakout at the Authority.

The first of the preview clips for Sunday's episode, which is rather biblically titled "In the Beginning," shows a little more of Russell's big escape. It's a confusing and chaotic affair: it would seem that the Authority has some kind of defenses in place in case this sort of thing happens. But was it all quick enough to get Eric to safety?

The second clip shows that Deputy Sam (okay, he's not really a deputy) is still on the case of the Obama Mask Killers, using his impressive sense of smell to help the investigation along... much to the confusion of one of the Bon Temps police officers.

The third clip brings some bad news for Sookie, as she further questions the other fairies. As it turns out, Sookie's magic glowy hands aren't an all-you-can-zap sort of deal: rather, since she's only half fairy, her magic could run out. What does that mean? We'll find out on Sunday.
