'True Blood' Season 5, Episode 5 Clips: Jessica Consoles Tara, Bill & Eric Start the Countdown

The fifth season of "True Blood" is starting to pick up the pace heading into this week's fifth episode, titled "Let's Boot and Rally." As evidenced by these two preview clips, the pace is about to pick up even more, at least for Bill and Eric.

The first clip reveals the duo traveling somewhere, presumably to find Russell, when they get a call from Molly, the Authority's vampire techie. She reveals that Bill and Eric's "iStakes" (those silly harnesses that they're wearing that Roman has an app for) are rigged to go off the next morning, meaning that Bill and Eric should probably hurry. The best thing is how cheerfully she says it.

While Bill and Eric are running out of time, Jessica and Tara have all the time in the world. At Merlotte's, Jessica has a heart-to-heart with Tara to help her see the bright side of being a vampire: they'll be young forever, and the world is wide open to them. It's a simple sentiment, but it's enough to get a smile out of the otherwise miserable Tara, who has not exactly been enjoying her new life.
