The Trailer For 'The Hangover: Part III' Has Finally Stumbled Out!
by Shannon KeirnanQuick word of warning… if you really love giraffes, you probably don’t want to watch this trailer.
“The Hangover: Part III” teaser trailer has been released, and it takes things in a different direction than we are used to seeing our binge-drinking pals go.
Rather than celebrating a wedding in complete joyous oblivion as the first two movies centered on (well, the aftermath of these celebrations)... it seems that the “epic conclusion to the trilogy of mayhem and bad decisions” has a sadder note to it.
The group heads to a funeral to say goodbye to the father of eccentric Alan (Zach Galifinakis). Yet, somehow, Stu (Ed Helms) and Phil (Bradley Cooper), and Alan end up back in Las Vegas, where the first movie took place.
“I told myself I would never come back,” Stu says with regret. “Someone needs to burn this place to the ground.”
Maybe Alan is hitting it on the head when he tells Stu, “We’ve been on many adventures together… but you haven’t learned anythin’. Anythin’!”
While the teaser doesn’t share too much information with the audience, here’s what we learn.
1) Alan has a beautiful singing voice. Like an angel.
2) Someone gets shot. Okay, probably lots of people.
3) Alan gets chased (as usual), this time by masked men. They probably want to shoot him.
4) Melissa McCarthy makes an appearance, apparently mesmerized by Alan’s sexual charisma (who can blame her?)
5) Animals seem to get the short stick in this film, not limited to giraffes.
6) Alan, it would seem, has come into some considerable money, which he obviously intends to spend in a responsible, adult manner.
“The Hangover: Part III” will hit theaters this summer.
