Trailer for Chris Farley Documentary Will Probably Make You Tear Up a Bit
by Andy Neuenschwander
One of Hollywood's most beloved comedic actors is getting a documentary about his life, and the first trailer is here.
"I Am Chris Farley" follows the early life and career of the "Saturday Night Live" superstar whose fan base only grew when he moved on to star in comedies like "Tommy Boy" and "Black Sheep." The industry and fans everywhere were devastated when Farley passed away in 1997.
The documentary will open in theaters on July 31, and looks to have highlights from Farley's career and interviews with many important people in his life, from friends back home in Wisconsin to co-stars in his films.
"He was infectious," Christina Applegate says of Farley's personality and sense of humor. "And he was kind. And he was a puppy dog."
There will definitely be some laughs in the documentary, but you can count on some tears, too. "Everybody cries through this, right?" asks Bob Saget during his interview.
