Tracy Morgan's Mother Faces Foreclosure - No Thanks To Tracy

After a while, one simply must wonder: does Tracy Morgan just willfully go out and generate bad press whenever he feels "30 Rock" writers' wellsprings of material dry out?

The 43-year-old "Saturday Night Live" alum and Emmy-nominated "30 Rock" co-star only barely cleared the hurdle his homosexual slur-laden Nashville stand-up rant last summer laid before him - and accomplishing that that took a brow-beating by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, multiple public apologies and a self-deprecating "30 Rock" episode. Then last month, he collapsed at the Sundance Film Festival and was rushed to a Park City, Utah hospital.

Now, his mother Alicia Warden faces foreclosure on her Ohio home, according to The Huffington Post - one of 1.89 million Americans who landed in the same boat in 2011, and among the roughly one in every 583 Ohio housing units receiving foreclosure notices last year. She owes a reported $25,000. Not every household among that nearly two-million people has a son worth a reported $18 million.

Tracy reportedly isn't giving the woman who passed his malfunctioning planet-sized noggin through her birth canal a penny more than about $2,000.

Sure, the pair have spent years estranged. Morgan certainly wasn't gentle portraying her in his 2009 book I'm The New Black, and Warden told the New York Daily News following Morgan's hospitalization that she learned online that he'd collapsed and that the two hadn't met in person in 11 years.

Still, all that being said . . . the woman gave birth to you, Morgan. We can roll our eyes at her because we've all had to endure your insane idiocy ever since. You, on the other hand? If you value life, you owe her at the very least what sister Asia Morgan has said "would be a drop in the bucket."
